Where and when were you born?

I was born in New Jersey, but I grew up in the U.S. Air Force.

When did you get into radio and why?

I started in radio in 1996 with another Brunswick station and enjoyed it very much. I think I started in radio because I have always loved music, and meeting new people, and you are always meeting new people in this wonderful business. I would have said years ago it was just because or it was an accident that I got into this business, but I know now that it was the work of God in my life preparing me for where I am right now.

When did your relationship with Jesus start?

I accepted Jesus into my heart when I was a young girl, but I did not have a true relationship with Him until 1998.

Where is the favorite place you’ve lived?

Hands down...Okinawa, Japan.

What is your best childhood memory?

Traveling. Being in the military afforded us the opportunity to see much of this wonderful country and world. What a wonderful experience as a child to have.

What sports team (if any) do you always root for?

I married a Pittsburgh man...Go Steelers!!

Who is your current favorite musician?

Being a musician and singer as well I have come to appreciate others styles and sounds; so I have never really had a favorite. There are so many wonderful and talented people who are able to perform that I just enjoy listening to a variety of music styles.

Other than the Bible, what book are you reading now?

Right now I am reading “What Every Mom Needs” by Elisa Morgan & Caol Kuykendall, “Mere Christianity” by C.S. Lewis, and I am just starting to read “Creative Correction” by Lisa Whelchel.

What is your favorite vacation spot?

Anywhere that is not near home!! Just kidding. I have been to so many places, but so far I would have to say that my favorite has been Nashville.

What vacation spot have you always wanted to go to, but haven’t yet?

There are several that I want to go to that I have not yet gone. Montreal, Quebec...ok Canada, and all of Europe. My dream is to backpack across Europe. I want to also visit New Zealand! What a beautiful world we are living on. I just want to see it and enjoy it!

What would be a perfect Friday night for you or your family?

We enjoy variety so I suppose that a perfect Friday would vary from week to week. We try to have one Friday night as a family, one Friday night as a couple while the kids are with family, and one Friday with our friends. Now if it could happen that way every month...then I suppose that would be the "perfect" Friday!

What is your favorite food?

I honestly do not have a favorite food. There are some foods that I don't eat, but most everything I enjoy!

Do you have any pets?

Right now we do not have any pets, but I'm sure in time that will change.
