Where and when were you born?

I was born in Lorain, Ohio (right near Cleveland) whatever twenty one years ago was =) - ok 30 years ago….

When did you get into radio and why?

The real answer – I started in college as an elementary ed major but quickly found out that wasn’t for me – I went to the back of the school handbook to where the breakdown of majors was – found out that there were all boys in broadcasting and only like 5 girls and went to sign up for a class….sorry mom and dad.

When did your relationship with Jesus start?

I came to know Jesus when I was 5 years old…the same year that my dad came to know Jesus too! I remember watching the pastor come and talk to my dad at our house and I wanted that too…I sat in my room with my mom and asked Jesus into my heart and have been growing with Jesus ever since!

Where is the favorite place you’ve lived?

I loved Minnesota – I know everyone says it is TOO COLD and that may be true but the summers in Winona were gorgeous, everyone is friendly and the scenery – it is one of those places you take for granted with all of the lakes and the bluffs and then after you leave it is like can you BELIEVE we lived there… we were so blessed!

What is your best childhood memory?

Growing up in a family of 6 kids…I have so many memories, but Christmas at the Prusha house was the best – so many traditions that I continue to this day and even now – I look forward to going home for Christmas!

What sports team (if any) do you always root for?

I go for all teams Cleveland – I grew up a Cavs, Browns and Indians fan and that loyalty runs deep…it is in my blood – even when they stink (and that is a lot of the time) I can’t help but love em!

Who is your current favorite musician?

Well my all time favorite band is the newsboys…I have loved them forever and someday we will be friends and they will dedicate an album to me… =)

Other than the Bible, what book are you reading now?

I am always in the middle of a few books =) I am re-reading “Blue Like Jazz”, a fabulous book, and “The Color of Water” which is also an incredible read!

What is your favorite vacation spot?

I love going to my Grandma Katies at the lake – she lives on a lake in Michigan and we used to go there every year for a week…still try to go there once a year now but it is that kind of place where you can swim if you want to, you can play cards and games all day…no television or cell phones – just sitting around in sweatpants with no make up – HEAVEN!

What vacation spot have you always wanted to go to, but haven’t yet?

My husband and I have never had a honeymoon can you believe that? For our 10 year anniversary we are going to go someplace tropical…that means I have 3 years to lose 20 pounds =)

What would be a perfect Friday night for you or your family?

We love having family slumber parties – once a month we get pizza or Chinese take out – have a picnic on the living room floor…then we drag the boys mattresses downstairs, push them together – pop the popcorn and watch a movie or two until we all fall asleep…the boys want to have a slumber party every night (and so do I) but we limit it to once a month (sometimes twice a month) =)

What is your favorite food?

I love the following: Diet Pepsi (not a food but I drink it ALL the time with food) ice cream (cookies and cream to be exact) smoothes (strawberry banana) dark chocolate dove promises, warm chocolate chip cookies, red peppers and dip, popcorn and lasagna…you know all the healthy stuff !!

Do you have any pets?

We HAD pets…none of them lasted very long – 2 snakes, Get Out and Spoon, both of those didn’t “move” so well (parents you know what that is code for) so we had to let them go – and one gerbil named Nacho who also met an untimely demise and my children were devastated – we are on a pet break for awhile now =)
